Tone
Definition: The high and low of amplitude and pitch from reading aloud the poem.
Example:
There's a patch of old snow in a corner,
That I should have guessed
Was a blow-away paper the rain
Had brought to rest.
Significant: The rise and fall of the tone creates the emotions and feelings that make the listener more enthusiastic.
